Post by wa4zlw » Tue Oct 29, 2013 9:57 am

i've tried to upload the ova template and get the following error in a modal dialog box

Error 400: Parameter Verification failed

filename missing '.tar.gz' extension

Where do we go from here?

ok I've got a container running under proxmox with the centos download from this site. I have access to and from the internet through my router yet the "test" fails. see traceroute:

here are results from connectivity test when I was connected in at lunchtime from work:

Connectivity Test
This test checks whether VPN clients on the Internet will be able to reach your VPN Server.
Current Server Network Settings
The VPN Server is currently configured with these network settings:
Host Name IP Address Port Number Protocol
10.161.51.21 all 443 TCP
10.161.51.21 all 1194 UDP
The Connectivity Test attempts to determine the public IP address and FQDN (Fully-Qualified Domain Name) corresponding to the IP address: all, and also whether or not clients on the Internet will be able to connect to the VPN Server

Test Results for TCP
Result: General Connectivity Test Error
Explanation: UNCLASSIFIED_ERROR
IP Address Tested: (not found)
Reverse DNS result: (unknown)

Test Results for UDP
Result: General Connectivity Test Error
Explanation: UNCLASSIFIED_ERROR
IP Address Tested: (not found)
Reverse DNS result: (unknown)

Warning: Your configured Hostname or IP Address is '10.161.51.21' which is not a public IP address that VPN clients on the Internet can reach.
Perform Test Again
The connectivity test may take several seconds to complete, and will take additional time if both TCP and UDP protocols are being tested.

if I try and just start the server I get:

Error:

iptables service not started because of error (SVC_RUN_EXCEPT)
iptables service not started because of error (SVC_RUN_EXCEPT)
