OpenVPN App for Bada and Nokia Belle (and possibly others)

Post by badaocean » Thu Dec 29, 2011 12:06 am

In behalf of Bada Community, I hope you grant our request of developing an OpenVPN Application for Bada (Wave Devices). We have seen your continuous support on mobile platforms like Android and iOs and we will be so much thankful to be able to use Open VPN on our devices. The latest update of Bada 2.0 brought us the VPN feature and we hope to maximize its use.

We are hoping that you will consider our request and find a place in your heart.

Yours,

Bada Family

We have seen your continuous support on mobile platforms like Android and iOs and we will be so much thankful to be able to use Open VPN on our devices. With the latest update of Nokia Belle I'm hoping that it will be much easier to port your apps with the use of QT SDK(im not sure about it). But please support Nokia Belle.

We are hoping that you will consider our request and find a place in your heart.

The hard core openvpn community does not do anything actively in regards to either Android or iOS. Those versions are provided by people who have access to these devices and are able to build/compile and package OpenVPN for these platforms. And this is how we prefer things to work.

So if you want Bada or Belle support, please feel free to get a hold of the proper Bada/Belle SDK kits needed to create Bada/Belle applications and try compiling OpenVPN in that tool chain. You must then also write some kind of GUI for OpenVPN, as OpenVPN itself is just a daemon which runs in the background.
