Hi,
I am new to OpenVPN. I have used "Remote Desktop Connection" but it was simple.
At our work, we got the OpenVPN server running on one PC. The previous programmer was using the OpenVPN from home. Means the OpenVPN server at work is working.
Now I want to connect to my work-PC from my home-PC. I am little bit stuck at understanding the configuration files. Please guide me in simple step:
What do I need to do on the existing OpenVPN server side?
What do I need to do on my PC? I have already installed OpenVPN on my work-PC. And at my home-PC.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: OpenVPN Configuration
hi there,
it depends on how the server it was configured..
if it uses certificates then you need to create a certificate for you ,
also you need to create a config file for your client (you)
to create the client config you must read the server config first...
also if some keys were deleted (fe ca.key) you simply cant create new keys
and you will have to recreate all the certs from the scratch (not a difficult task).
post your server config and read the docs...
Michael.
