Rapto Openvpn - Error Message

Post by sunpower » Tue May 24, 2011 1:49 pm

Hello,

I installed raptor vpn yesterday. It worked for a while and I was watching HULU TV (I'm from outside of the U.S.). Anyways, a few hours later, it stopped working. All evening yesterday and all day today I tried to get my opn to work and it would not ping or allow me to use the server.

The error messages I get are:

Tue May 24 22:30:18 2011 OpenVPN 2.1.3 i686-pc-mingw32 [SSL] [LZO2] [PKCS11] built on Aug 20 2010

Tue May 24 22:31:34 2011 WARNING: No server certificate verification method has been enabled. See http://openvpn.net/howto.html#mitm for more info.

Tue May 24 22:31:34 2011 NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables

Tue May 24 22:31:34 2011 LZO compression initialized

Tue May 24 22:31:34 2011 Attempting to establish TCP connection with 206.217.204.125:443

-------------

Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong or what has stopped the VPN from working on my computer? As I said, it was working but suddenly stopped working yesterday.

Thanks.

if it stops at this point
206.217.204.125:443
then either the service was down (as of writing, I can reach that IP and port) or there's a firewall on your client side that is blocking access
