Kill The Resources Being Used By OpenVPN Desktop Client

Post by DasFox » Wed Mar 23, 2011 11:45 pm

Well I must admit the openvpn client for windows is a really nice light weight looking app;

http://swupdate.openvpn.net/downloads/o ... client.msi

Well nice and light weight in size, but boy talk about sucking up the resources for such a small little app....

Around 50-70MB just to use this... :(

Please let's get something light weight going in the resource department for this...

THANKS

the download link you list is for the OpenVPN Access Server client, i.e. the commercial version of OpenVPN; this forum is intended only for the community (open source) version of OpenVPN. If you download OpenVPN 2.1 for Windows you get a GUI with it for free, which also works on Win7 and which is light-weight.
