I configured and set up a openvpn server with one user initially. Everything is working fine. I need to add aditional users now I have the original key folder. Do I need to start over again or can I create additonal users.
build-key-pass client doesn't seem to work

Try build-key <username> after you run the vars script

yah I did doesn't work. What files exactly do I need in the key folder from my previous key creation?

you shouldnt delete any of those files... you wont be able to remove users via a CRL later if you do...
if you removed the CA stuff (index files / csr for each client), better start a new CA now and re-make certs for the whole vpn
