Good Evening,
I've configured:
- an Open VPN Server on a PC with Windows 10 ! location = Italy
- a client with OpenVPN (client installation) on a PC with Windows 10 | location=England
- The server has a static IP configured and UDP port 1194 opened on Windows Firewall settings .
- Port Forwarding configured on Italy Router for enabling UDP 1194 for OpenVPN Server.
- Static DNS Configured for the Dynamic Public IP of Italy router. The client will contact directly the Static DNS Name on port 1194.
The VPN Connection from Client to VPN Server works correctly. The client receive the private IP of the range configured in the config file of server.ovpn.
But when I try to check which is the Public IP of the Client, it doesn't change and the geolocation still in the same location = England.
I've tried to clear the cache and cookies of the browser and also tried with incognite but the Public IP and location doesn't change.
Could you please tell me if I wrong something in the configurations? Maybe there are some others settings to do on my Router (in Italy)?
Thanks,
OpenVPN Public IP and Geolocation doesn't change

Re: OpenVPN Public IP and Geolocation doesn't change
Hey man, what is your OpenVPN server, is it the router or a Linux server?
If It is a Linux server, provide the iptables here.
for your client, provide the client config sample.
