OpenVPN Support Forum

Hi everyone! I'm a QA Technician who got tasked with creating a secure VPN and setting it up. A bit out of my element here. I set up the access server, etc. I set up some user accounts and groups, and went to go test it with a laptop not on our work network. User authentication keeps failing, and I have not been able to figure out why. I've tried messing with the IP address settings, etc. I just want to get this up and running so I can have users connect and get the process going.

If anyone could assist me I would greatly appreciate it, and even offer a reward of a gift card for coffee Thanks so much everyone.

I'd suggest using a ticket at https://support.openvpn.net/ where you can share details you might otherwise prefer to hide in a public forum like this. Details of the OS/distro you are using, and logs would help (either there or here or both if you prefer.) I'm sure we can figure it out.

Coffee's nice, but if you buy an Access Server subscription that's all the reward we need.
