Im searching the web for more than 1h now for the information what the "OpenVPN Legacy Service" does and if it is necessary.
Start-type is automatic and it is launched on my Windows Server 2012 R2.
But I want to know what should I do if the service is stopped. I had a message that the service was stopped and cant restart automaticly. Then I stopped all 3 (2 services (+ legacy service)) OpenVPN services and then I could start it.

(P.S.: I found out that the legacy service is only used in older OpenVPN versions? I found out that I dont have to start the service neither than set the start-mode of the service to automaticly? (but it is in my Windows Server!?) I found out that the legacy service is there for compatibility problems to older versions? I found out that the service is started to load configuration?)
