Web Login and desktop download

Hello everyone,

I am kind new to setting up vpn, I am a data analyst in the midst of IT experts


I work with a subsidiary company, and my parent company sent me a VPN, URL with username and password, I was able to login successfully to OpenVpn-Server.

What is the next thing to ?


Though I went ahead and still download the app , inserted the url, inputted ,my username and passowrd supplied above and tried to connect but

I was getting the error "There was error attempting to connect to the selected server"


I really don't think I know what I am doing. need some guidance!

Looks like you did okay. Now you need to check the log in the client program to see why there was an error attempting to connect to the selected server, and see what useful information you can get from that. Apparently somehow the connection is not possible. Could be a misconfiguration on their end, could be a problem with the connection, who knows. The logs will tell.
