Setting up different external IPs for each user

Post by yourknightmares » Sat Oct 17, 2020 12:24 am

I have a OpenVPN AMI set up in AWS. I'm currently using this just for restricted access to the production database.

I'm looking into expanding my OpenVPN use to have that configuration, then have other users connect and have a different external IP address that is whitelisted to other machines, but wouldn't be whitelisted for production db connections.

Is this something I can use the static IP mapping for? I'm reading this page: https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resource ... to-a-user/ and I just want to make sure before I implement it that these IPs apply external IPs. So if I'm connected through the OpenVPN ami, then request one of my machines, it will see this static IP.
