DNS registration issues

I am using the the OpenVPN connect client with a Watchguard firewall.
When the user device is connecting to the VPN the corporate DNS server is getting updated with the IP address of the client's local LAN IP as well as the corporate assigned VPN IP address.
Is there a way to stop the Local LAN IP getting into DNS ?
