Question about OpenVPN Connect for Windows

Post by kosta88 » Wed Apr 29, 2020 9:08 am

Hello,
I hope this question is placed correctly here.
Is there a way to start OpenVPN Connect from a command line and telling it to connect?
I've seen this, but this isn't working really:
https://openvpn.net/community-resources ... le-window/
We are using imported profiles from a Sophos firewall. Each user has each own username too, so the .ovpn names are different. Besides, I am saving a password in the OpenVPN connect, so I'd want OpenVPN Connect to connect the one and only connection it has. I could live with possibility to connect on basis of Profile Name.
Thank you

Unfortunately, it is not placed correctly. This is "Server admin" and this is for the Free Open Source version of openvpn.

Openvpn Connect is closed source and supported by Openvpn.inc

I am not sure what the difference between OpenVPN and OpenVPN.inc is.
I actually changed to OpenVPN 2.4.9, which apparently does solve my problem of application autostart and silent updating.
Thanks.
