Hi guys,
how can I configure OpenVPN or Windows to have either internet connection through VPN or no connection at all?
The purpose of this is to prevent Windows system and programs to reveal my real IP address(the IP assigned by my ISP) by making connections to the internet while not yet connected to the VPN server.
To make this clear - I connect to the internet through my ISP. Then I immediately connect to the VPN server and use their IP. But if any windows program makes a connection to the internet in those few seconds after I connect to my ISP, but before I connect to the VPN server, my IP is revealed. Do you have any idea how could I prevent this?
Thanks,
Marha

Re: Preventing windows from connecting to internet without VPN
have you tested whether or not running openvpn as a service set to start itself on boot fixes this?
