Most recent update broke openVPN with what appears to be a similar problem as when the initial changes happened with 3.0.1 and earlier (major changes to GUI). It was working between 3.0.1 and 3.0.3 which was the last update.
I haven't changed anything in my server or client and it just stopped working again.
The client is still the same as was here:

The error is:
TLS Error: incoming packet authentication failed from [AF_INET]IP:port

I should mention that this is Android before Oreo - 7.X.X - Nougat
