Hello all,
I've run an OpenVPN server for years but just tried to install the Android client (OpenVPN Connect).
I configured a unified config file and tried to connect, the "Allow connection" popup appears, but I can't click on "OK". My only option is to click "cancel". The "OK" area is unresponsive to touch. On the server side, I've run tcpdump and been unable to see any traffic, regardless of which port I configure it for, UDP/53,1134,and random ports, or TCP/443. I tried paring the config file down to the bare minimum and no luck.
And now strangely today it's doing something else, suddenly I'm at the "waiting for server" then "timeout" status. I noticed this just now as I'm writing my article, it wasn't doing this yesterday. Anyone got any ideas? Could something have been blocking VPN yesterday, perhaps? Does AVG or other security tools interfere?
android UI freezing after "connect" - can only cancel not OK
