dual router set up - Remote connection

I have a dual router set up,1st router connected to isp connected by ethernet to second router configured with ddwrt and open vpn.
using no-ip.
I have open vpn installed on my remote laptop and i phone. I have failed to connect remotely to home network, I wish to connect to usb hard drive and nas drive connected to my router.
Please can any body offer assistance.

I have a similar problem, I would like to access the usb drive connected to my second router thru openvpn client log in to the main router openvpn server. Is there any suggestion how to solve this?
