OpenVPN Connect (iOS) no traffic in iOS black screen mode

Hi,

OpenVPN is not receiving or sending traffic while the iOS device is been put into black screen mode. (i.e. at Sleep mode).

While the other iOS default supported VPN protocol (like PPTP, L2TP, IPSEC etc...) is still working while the iOS device enters into "Sleep Mode".

Can this problem be solved by OpenVPN connect ios client?

Any one has any solution for this?

I noticed OpenVpn reconnecting up everytime I take my iOS device out of sleep mode. Surely the iOS leaks data like a sieve until the VPN connection is established.

Just go to Settings-OpenVpn, turn on seamless tunnel. Simple as that.
