I am aware that the core OpenVPN client source code is available, and I've also heard that the piece of the OpenVPN Connect client that connects this code to the iOS VPN framework is under NDA and not open source.
My question is this: Given the source code that *is* open source, would it be possible to create a new iOS app that replicates the functionality of the OpenVPN Connect app (given some work on my end integrating it with iOS' VPN framework myself), or is the reason that connecting code is under NDA that it makes use of private APIs that the OpenVPN team has received special dispensation from Apple to use?
Is it possible to create a custom OpenVPN client for iOS?

Hi!
Do you have any success to integrate OpenVPN in your application?
I'm investigation the same issue and would be very pleased to make some conversation.
I get to build this sources for ios platform https://staging.openvpn.net/openvpn3/
And want to know if is it suitable to integrate them into NetworkExtension.framework for iOS SDK.
I have a leak of knowledges about networks and need some points for further work.
Thank you for the reply.
