OpenVPN Connect Crashes on Lollipop

I am new to VPN. Installed OpenVPN Connect on Android Lollipop (Galaxy S5), and it seems to be working great, except it stops working after a while (several hours?). I always notice in the morning that the OpnVPN Connect icon is gone from the phone's notification area, and of course, the service is not running. It happens, while the phone is still connected through the same (cellular / T--Mobile) provider. I use IpV4 in the T-Mobile connections settings. Any help will be appreciated!
