OpenVPN server on Mac 10.10 Yosemite connection refused

Post by rokeno » Thu Aug 06, 2015 4:36 pm

Hi,
i've configured the OpenVPN server like in the link below: http://www.podfeet.com/blog/2013/04/413 ... pn-server/

all goo, changed the port and protocol in server.conf and also in the ovpn file created in the process for the clients, but i am unable to connect to this server
I have to add that i also did NAT in the router to reach TCP 443 on the local macosx machine

Here's the output from the android device:
EVENT: RECONNECTING
EVENT: RESOLVE
Contacting my-DNS-name-i-chose:443 (IP:443) via HTTP Proxy
EVENT: WAIT_PROXY
Transport Error: TCP connect error on 'my-DNS-name-i-chose:443' (IP:443) for TCP-via-HTTP-proxy session: Connection refused.
Client terminated

I can resolve the DNS name done on www.noip.com. it works, i've tested it. but i cannot reach this macosx laptop acting as a OpenVPN server on 443 TCP.

What did i do wrong OR what else do i have to configure in order to reach it?

Thanks in advance for the support
