Openvpn logs in but not connects to internet on Android 5

Hi all, I'm a kinda newbie in android world, so apologies first.

I've installed Openvpn client on my recently bought android 5 cellphone. I use my login info to log in, but I can not surf the net after that since the browser does not show any page, like if I'm not connected to internet. After disconnecting from Openvpn, the internet works. I have to say that the Openvpn client works perfectly fine on my laptop and I do not use my account on both devices simultaneously.

It's been bugging me lately, I'll be grateful to get this problem solved.
