Hi,
I run a pfsense box which has an OpenVPN server running. It is behind a dynamic IP which is updated using Zoneedit.
Now when checking the IP of my domain xxx.net, it is updated as one would expect.
However, whenever I connect with the IOS Openvpn APP, it seems as though the app tries to use the IP address in the machine's DNS cache and does NOT call a DNS server for an updated IP address.
Other than flushing the cache from the iPhone / iPad, what is going on and can this be fixed ?
The .ovpn package that is created by the pfsense box sets the destination address s xxx.net NOT an IP address since it is dynamic.
any assistance would be appreciated.
Chris.
