I am running the OpenVPN client on my OG Moto X (XT1060) running Android KitKat. My OpenVPN server is the built-in OpenVPN on my Asus RT-N66U.
When I am connected to 4G, I can log into the VPN, see local machines, and send/receive internet data. However, if I am connected to my wireless network (the router that is running as the OpenVPN server), I can't send or receive any data or even see local machines unless I disconnect from the VPN.
I suspect this is a problem with my router's configuration. I would really like to not have to disconnect and reconnect from my VPN when I arrive/leave home. What should I look at? I do have static DHCP configured for my phone's MAC address. I've been looking for a solution for a couple of days and couldn't find anything helpful.
