Hi,
I used to use OpenVPN Connect (IOS 7) for a period of time, which worked well. Recently, I update my iPhone5 to IOS 8.1, and got it JB. Then I found I can't use the app anymore. The app will crash when launched. I've updated the app to Version 1.0.5 which should be the most updated version till now. Please help.

I have the same issue, but I think I found the culprit.

I also have a Cisco IPSEC VPN profile installed for work (this isn't for use with OpenVPN). If I delete this IPSEC profile, OpenVPN Connect doesn't crash any more. If I recreate the IPSEC VPN profile, it starts crashing again.

Please can we get this fixed? OpenVPN shouldn't care about other VPN profiles installed.

Same problem.
Updated to 8.1.2 ios and OpenVPN client crushed when started.
No one could help

Can anybody helps or advise something?

Delete any non-openvpn VPN profiles you have and you'll be able to open the app again.

Note that you can still actually use/connect to the openvpn VPNs directly from the Settings-VPN page, so don't even need to use the app as much now.

There's a bug filed with openvpn for this.

PS: Maybe you can explain differencies between OpenVPN and Guizmovpn from Cydia? Both now are using utun...
