This is where we can discuss what we would like to see added or changed in OpenVPN.

Openvpn client exit nodes drop-down menu for Linux - routers

Post by hulltech » Sun Sep 28, 2014 11:03 am

Hello,
I would like to see a drop-down menu for the exit nodes to choose which server you would like to connect to as well as a place for your username and password. Adding encryption, a place for ip tables, encryption, and vpn firewalls would be nice. With most vpn providers having servers all over the world it would be great to be able to choose from a list instead of reconfiguring. I have a router that is based on Linux that I am thinking of but the rest would benefit everyone. I have looked for a vpn kill switch
When a dns leak happens but they are only available to os's. It would be great to have a program that would encompass anything that openvpn worked on. Please consider my suggestions.

Thank you,
Have a great day!
