OpenVPN Connection Timeout on Android

Connection timed out error. Logs contain the following:

xx:xx:xx.xxx -- Contacting IP:port via UDP
xx:xx:xx.xxx -- EVENT: WAIT
xx:xx:xx.xxx -- Connecting to DNSname:port (IP) via UDPv4
xx:xx:xx.xxx -- Server poll timeout, trying next remote entry...
xx:xx:xx.xxx -- EVENT: RECONNECTING
xx:xx:xx.xxx -- LZO-ASYM init swap=0 asym=0
xx:xx:xx.xxx -- EVENT: RESOLVE....whole preocess starts over again

What is causing this? Can anyone shed some light on the possible causes? Thanks to all who reply!
