BSOD appears while updating TAP Windows 6 to openVPN 2.3.2/3

Post by chinnasamy » Wed Jun 04, 2014 7:31 am

Hi,

1. Installed released OpenVPN 2.3.2 (also tried on 2.3.3) and default TAP windows drivers which comes along with the installer in Windows 7 32 bit system(Also tried on Windows 8 64 bit system).

2. Then made a OPenVPN server-client connection no issues.

3. Downloaded the TAP windows 6 from GIT and TAP windows driver was build using WDK 8.1 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013

4. Remove the default TAP driver which installed with openVPN

5. And then Installed newly build TAP windows 6 driver

6. Tried to Make a open VPN server-client connection

7. BSOD appears on OpenVPN server (one or two times noticed in client also) with "Probably caused by : ndis.sys ( ndis!TrFilterDprIndicateReceiveComplete+1a36 )"

Could please help/give any hint.

Thanks
