HELP - How to block OpenVPN outgoing traffic

Post by elchakal3000 » Fri May 23, 2014 1:31 am

Hello everybody!

Recently I installed an OpenVPN Server on a Windows Server 2008 Enterprise.
It is configured in TAP. It runs perfect.

Here is my question:

We have a LAN of 40 users, with a primary simetric internet conection.
We also have a secondary cable conection conected to another router for wifi (internet) porpouses.

What I want to do, is to block the outgoing traffic, to prevent users from conecting to OpenVPN server from the wifi conection.

Is there any way to do this in the WiFi router (using ACL rules or configuring a route), or in the Windows 2008 firewall where OpenVPN is installed?

Or it must be done in the client.ovpn of each client?

Thank you in advance.
Regards!
