RSA to AES Change

Post by imrjustin » Fri May 09, 2014 10:22 pm

Is there a way to generate the server and client certificates using AES instead of RSA? I've searched around but I can only find instructions to do this on the Access Server webUI. I am using community edition on a Debian server. If there is a way, how?

hi there,
Is there a way to generate the server and client certificates using AES instead of RSA?
AES is a symmetric block cipher algorythm,
RSA is asymmetric...

can you please share the link?

AFAIK openvpn use asymetric encryption for the initial handshake then switches to symmetric for speed..
