Linux with NM: connect to Server with certificate without pw

Post by hs » Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:18 pm

Hello,

I have a bit of a pickle with using OpenVPN under Linux in Gnome 3 (OpenSuse 13.1 x64).
I want to connect to a server, that requires a certificate, but this certificate has no password. The thing is: I can't even save the connection without entering a password (even if it does not exist). If I just enter something for the sake of entering something it will of cause not connect, because the password is false.

What can I do to fix this?

Thank you for any help!

Should we presume NM is Network Manager ?
Yes, exactly, sorry I had to shorten it for the title and then I forgot about it. So yes, NM is Network Manager
