Cannot connect to server

Post by Dreyk » Sun Mar 23, 2014 5:11 pm

Hello!

Tried to connect to an openvpn server, that is run on my D-Link NAS (D-LINK DNS-327L, Embedded Linux)
Exported the p12 file, imported it to the keychain, then exported the .ovpn with the ca embedded, imported it to the app, binded the .ovpn to keychain profile but as i tried to connect got
"Client exception in transport_recv_excode: PolarSSL: SSL read ServerKeyExchange handshake message failed" And it goes all over again.

The server-side log-file doesn't contain anything unusual or erroneous

What could it be? Thanks in advance

Ok, solved this by myself.

The client seemed not to like the 384-bit encryption. Changed it to 1024 and everything is smooth now

I have a 4096bit RSA cert signed with SHA-384, and still have this problem, and I cant change this parameters.
So will the client ever support this type of cert, or I have to try an other solution?

thanks,
