OpenVPN on iOS stopped working since upgrade to v1.0.2
Hi,
I have many clients in Iran, which can not get connected to my OpenVPN server since they have updated their client to v1.0.2 while the others who didn't update, can easily get connected.
Also Android clients can get connected pretty easy, same as Mac and Windows, all with same configuration.
I checked log file on both versions, completely same on both of them.
Any advice?
Thanks.

any chance you're using TCP Mode ?!
we have the same problem here and it seems no one here cares about it (or maybe they're busy fixing it

There is a new version available today, I mean 1.0.3. I'm asking a friend of mine in Iran to try and will update you here. Hopefully the issue is resolved.lifehacker wrote:any chance you're using TCP Mode ?!

Same again. They still can't get connected even with new 1.0.3 version.

Re: OpenVPN on iOS stopped working since upgrade to v1.0.2
If you have a broken install of 1.0.2 on iOS 5.1.1 device, try completely uninstalling 1.0.2, power cycle the device, and then retry download of 1.0.3 from store. This should give you the option to reinstall 1.0.1.
Re: TCP issues, please provide more details:
1. log files would be helpful
2. are you connecting through a proxy?
3. are you connecting from a country that might be blocking VPN traffic?
4. did previous versions of OpenVPN Connect connect fine with TCP? If so, what is the highest version of OpenVPN Connect that successfully connected?
If you prefer not to post log files to the forum, email us at ios@openvpn.net and include "TCP connection issues" in the subject line.
