ASUS Android and "No certificates found"

Post by sleddogolson » Mon Jul 01, 2013 9:20 pm

Hello,

I am new to using OPENVPN with an Android. I have multiple config file and multiple certificates on my PC. Now, I am trying to get one config and cert on the tablet and I am running into trouble.

I can open the program. I can import the profile from the root of the SD card. I know that the config (or profile) refers to the certificate by name: CACERT.WRB. However, when I attempt to connect I get a "no cert..." message and I can try to import the cert, but it wants a password for that file and I don't have that password. I never need to do this with a PC because the presumed path to the cert refer to just the name; so the default - the current folder is the path.

Any ideas.

I have the same problem. I tried different file extensions (crt, cer, ...) because it was suggested here. They didn't work.

Any new insights?

(Additional Information: According to ssl.com, the certificate formats pem, crt and cer aren't that much different, it's just the file extension...)
