Hello,
I am trying to install openVPN on windows VPS and met with an error related to TAP driver installation, tried re-installing couple of times but no luck.
If anyone have a better understanding, please help me here.
My server OS: Windows 2008 Enterprise(32 bit)
When clicked on connect after all configurations got below error

Error on clicking connect:
CreateFile failed on TAP device.....
All TAP-Win32 adapters on this system are currently in use
For that I tried adding new adapter but something is wrong as I can see its status as:

The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. (Code 48)
So I think driver is causing all issues, but sadly it didn't work even after applying many recommended fixes.
Any help here is much appreciated.

It sounds like you are trying to install a very old version of OpenVPN. Please ensure you have the latest version, check the downloads page on www.openvpn.net.
I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
