Ubuntu server and windows client tutorial

Post by Azdar » Sat Apr 13, 2013 4:48 pm

Hi,

I'd like to install openvpn on my server, and my personal computer.
What I want is create a secured tunnel between me and my server, and also make sure all my traffic goes through my server, so my server does all the job and simply forward me the traffic through this tunnel.

I thought it wouldn't be that hard for such a configuration. But I've been trying for many hours now, with 3 or 4 different tutorials (never quite adapted to my needs but hey) and it just doesn't work..

So my last chance I guess is this forum :)

Does anybody know a decent tutorial explaining how to do that between an Ubuntu server and a windows client ?
Or do you suggest I just start the thing the best I can and post the issues I get along the way ?

Thanks, I'm desperate. :(

Gaaawwd why. Why is it always when I search for hours, then give up and ask for help, that I succeed in the next 15 minutes ? Always...

Right so the connection is up... :)

Now I need to forward all traffic through the beast. I will come back if this doesn't work out.

Thanks.
