hello all-
I have had an OpenVPN server running successfully now for over a month with no problems after following the setup guides. However today I ran routine maintenance on numerous machines including updating packages on this server, using apt-get dist-upgrade. The system found and installed 39 package updates from the Debian repository, and after rebooting the server the VPN server interface (web and access) do not come up. I can log in at the console, the server is on the network and responds to ping but it appears the openvpn-as package or some prerequisite has been broken. How would I troubleshoot this to repair or restore ideally without removing the existing configuration?
server inaccessible after running Debian package updates

Re: server inaccessible after running Debian package updates
Please send us the logfiles and configfiles of your server.
OpenVPN logging on Debian can usually be found in /var/log/syslog or other files when configured manually.
