I installed the DNSfix from DNSleaktest.com attempting to fix 3 DNS leaks I have when using OpenVPN in Windows Vista and 7. I installed the files to Program Files (x86) > OpenVPN > config which installed the 3 VBscript files up, down and pre along with a few other random files. Now when I connect to vpnBook and run a check on DNSleaktest.com I get the same exact results as before... 1 DNS server in Romania and still the 3 DNS servers from my internet provider here in the US.
Also, I tried to set up an auto fill username/password by creating a txt file in the config folder (pass.txt) containing 2 lines of text... the top being username the lower being password. I then modified the vpnBook OpenVPN profile text line auth-user-pass pass.txt. Everytime I tried to login after this OpenVPN gets stuck on the Connecting status bar like it knows to look for the username and password but can't find them.
I am not too concerned about the auto fill issue but both problems are on 2 separate machines using 2 different versions of Windows and are both issues linked back to the config folder leading me to believe that OpenVPN is not detecting the files in that folder. I am no computer expert so can someone please help me figure out what is going on here?
Much Appreciated
