Core error: Polarssl cipher not found

Post by tmtx » Thu Mar 21, 2013 7:07 pm

Using StrongVPN as the VPN provider for L2TP. I'm using a .OVPN file with a TA.key and VPN.crt and VPN.key files. The files successfully import and Connect sees the VPN server config. When I choose connect I get an error of OpenVPN Core: Polarssl_cipher_not_found:none. Un/re'd openvpn connect and reimported the credentials. No go. Phone reboot nogo. Running Android 4.0.4. This is not the "parsing private key" error that others have received. This seems more programmatical than key or config file based. Currently out of ideas so any help would be appreciated.

The "none" cipher and digest will be added to the next Android Connect release (1.1.10).

This should fix the error you are seeing.
