OpenVPN --> Samba ?

Post by Uriziel » Sat Dec 01, 2012 3:00 pm

Hello I have running on a Ubuntu Root server an OpenVPN-AS Server and an Samba File Share.

And I wanna connet them, so that only VPN user can access the File Share.

I have to use the HowTO but it didn´t work. What should I do ?

You haven't explained what the exact situation is in regards to networking, but you could for example bind Samba to listen only to a specific interface or IP address, then push routes to the VPN clients that give access to that specific IP address.
I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
