De-authorise users??

Post by andrewglass3 » Fri Nov 23, 2012 3:59 am

Hiya

Apologies if Ive missed something.

Ive a couple of client setups Id like to de-authorise so they can't be used anymore.

Any pointers on how to do this would be muchly appreciated :)

Loving OpenVPN and all its benefits.

Thanks

Andy

hi there,

de-authorize?

you mean you dont want them to connect anymore?
if yes there are 3 ways..

1) use CRL list and revoke their cert (this is permament)

if you use ccd files you can:

1) add disable directive in their ccd file
or
2) use ccd-exlusive in main config and remove their ccd file

the last will cause AUTH_FAIL on ALL clients who DONT have ccd file...
