WORSE FORUM EVER!

Post by BrianBlaze » Mon Oct 01, 2012 7:32 pm

SO I HAVE A QUESTION... AND IT MAY NEVER SHOW UP ON THE FORUM... and some of the responses to questions are even more confusing then the questions... I am not a helpless guy I am a sys admin trying to help and get help... clearly the openvpn forum is the last place to get real help....

guess what...it did!
I am not a helpless guy I am a sys admin trying to help and get help
you are trying to help? with post count 1? someone tried to stop you for helping?
and some of the responses to questions are even more confusing then the questions...
just to mention that NOBODY or very few people follow some basic rules like:

post your configs
explain what you want to do
show your logs

if you can help out better than we do..then go ahead and do it!
clearly the openvpn forum is the last place to get real help....
do you want to take a look other projects forums? go ahead and visit:

zeroshell forum
zentyal forum

dont want to mention others though....

just to remind you that most moderators here are not get paid for support....

I am not looking for a fight but I just hate when I post something and they have to be approved before posting... everytime... And obviously no one is paid on this that is why I like forums I am asking guys who have gone through the same or similar problems. Anyways thanks for letting me post this lol I am surprised you did haha

Weird I don't need permission anymore? :P

welcome to the internet.
im so tempted to delete this thread and make you have *useful* posts to get past the beginning of your account. your posts do not show up without mod's approving it at first just in case you are a spammer or some other non-desirable. had i been the mod who saw this useless thread, i would have deleted it instead of accepting it. especially because your post had NOTHING to do with openvpn. im still not 100% convinced that you are not a spam bot, but i'll look over your other posts before deciding to not delete.
if you are a human, i suggest changing your attitude before trying to get free help from ANY open source project. with that attitude, the people who donate their time helping people understand some open source project may just look at your post and decide you can 'f' yourself instead of caring what you need help with, and im SURE that was not your goal

I approved the post. I thought it was hilarious.

The post approval process is there to aid in keeping spam off the site. If you've never administered a large forum before, you'll find it's really very difficult. I'm going to go ahead and lock this topic, and retain it for posterity, and any time I need a good laugh.

Thanks!
