I was setting up a new OpenVPN server for a remote office and set the IP Address static to it's LAN. I installed OpenVPN, configured the server and client files and successfully connected the client to server. The problem started when I moved the server to the remote office and changed the IP address to match their LAN. Now OpenVPN will not start. In the log, it showed that it was still trying use the previous LAN settings. I double checked the /etc/network/interfaces file to make sure I didn't miss anything and even edited the /etc/resolv.conf and changed it to the new name server to no avail. Ifconfig shows the correct IP address, and I am able to ping the default gateway on this LAN. I am hoping it is just something simple that I missed as to why OpenVPN is still trying to use the old LAN settings and some one can point out.
Software
