OpenVPN Client Crashes soon as you start the Application after rebooting the machine (computer)

Problem:

OpenVPN Client version 1.5.6
OS: Windows 10 Pro
We have about 120 users, and no one else complained about this issue. Upgrading to the latest version was not a solution. Since it required Server end and Client end both to be updated.

I started having this issue about a month ago, where as soon as would start or reboot my computer, OPENVPN client crashes immediately soon after it launches. Only way to resolve the issue was to Uninstall and then Reinstall.

Solution:

Service > OpenVPN Access Client > Startup Type > Change it to Delayed Start

OpenVPN client services was failing to come up after system reboots. Not sure what caused it, most likely a windows update, but setting it to “Automatic (Delayed Start) solved it for me.
