I have my University VPN that I access via openVPN. While I am on my home network I need to start open VPN when I need to access certain websites e.g. My university intranet or Wiley for paywalled journal articles etc. Is there a way to set Chrome up so that it fires OpenVPN automatically when it encounters a list of domains?
Further is it possible to selectively push certain traffic to openVPN (e.g. websites that match regex) whereas keep the other traffic on my home network (which is faster).
How to customize and extend your OpenVPN installation.
