I'm sure this is a ridiculously obvious thing, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Pretend for a second I have set up the client (Windows; OpenVPN GUI) and server (CentOS) and they're connecting (my task for the afternoon). How do I get applications to use the VPN? I'm assuming all my network traffic just gets routed through the new "network adapter" (TAP-Windows Adapter V9)?
What if I only want certain web-browsers/applications to use the VPN; is that possible?
All the docs I've read (OpenVPN.net and https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn-gui) end at: "congratulations you're connected".
Thanks
(Sorry if this is the wrong board; seemed most appropriate)

Re: Actually using the tunnel
Thanks. After spending several hours with OpenVPN, it turns out that simply installing Squid and using that as a proxy is the way to go (5 mins). Right tool for the right job.
