Hello,
I have an http service running on port 8000 on my windows 10 laptop, for which I have mapped and downloaded the neccessary openvpn configuration from portmap.io .
The problem is, I am able to access this service from my home network but it gives an error "Invalid Request or server failure. HTTP_Proxy " while I access it from outside. I have not port-forwarded my router since I was under the impression portmap.io service did the same.
Basically, I am looking for a solution to access the service I run on a port on my PC from the internet without having to confure portforwarding on my physical router.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Unable to access port outside Network

You will find support on portmap.io
I gloomily came to the ironic conclusion that if you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.

Re: Unable to access port outside Network
I don't seem to have any issues as far as I can see in their support section. netstat commands shows the port listening and there is no firewall blocking it.
With openvpn not running, I get a normal request timed out while trying to access my laptop. But with it turned on and connected, the message is "Invalid request or server failure"
Anyway, I have written to them as well. thanks anyways
