Is there a way to update a server certificate and change the email address that is stored in the certificate?
I have OpenVPN working just fine with a CentOS server and a couple of clients [CentOS and XP]. The email address that was put into the server certificate was an end user address. I'd like to change it to a generic task based address like keymgmt@xxxxxx.com. Is it possible to update the server certificate/key without having to regenerate all of the client keys?
server certificate management - change email address?

Re: server certificate management - change email address?
no
it is signed by the CA as-is
to be able to change it at all without re-signing by ca would be a problem
