Do you mean remote connections through openvpn server to connected clients? If so yes this is possible. I use vncviewer command on the server with X forwarding on my session.

Yes, but I need more information on your setup before I cna provide the answer.

What OS is your openvpn server? What OS are the openvpn clients?

The short answer is: Yes. Once a client is successfully connected, it is On Your Network--it is just another IP. The thing you will probably need to look at is the configuration of the client machine. If you are running a client-side firewall, you will need to add rules to permit access from your server-side network(s). Whether this is in the form of RDC, VNC or an SSH connection, a client-side port that is not open will not provide a service! :)

From the server-network side, you could install a port scanner and direct it at the desired client IP to see what its network face Looks Like.

From the client system, you could install a packet sniffer and attach it to your tap/tun device to get a look at what kind of traffic said client is emitting.

For information regarding the proper configuration of the client machine, I'd direct you to a forum/list/something specific to your client OS and/or firewall.

Good Luck!

In simple term computer networks could be interpreted as a collection of devices which are interconnected through a link to the communication media. http://www.certifiednursingassistantcna.com/
