how does openvpn see the configuration files?

Post by pinguim007 » Mon Nov 22, 2010 9:42 pm

hello folks,

Does somebody known how does a easy-rsa see the configuration on the server?

I have multiples windows clients, I only need to know if is possible to create a .conf for each client on the server, or if is only one, how does openvpn known that this .conf name is the correct .conf.

thanks

You will need to create a file for each remote user you which to connect. But for Windows clients you will need to create/use a .ovpn extension. For example: RemoteClient1.ovpn, RemoteClieint2.ovpn instead of RemoteClient1.conf, RemoteClient2.conf which is used for Linux and Unix OS Sytems.
